Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this fella, Voss, from Baldur’s Gate 3. I ain’t no scholar or nothin’, but I’ve heard some things, ya know? People talkin’ and such.
First off, they say this Voss is a big shot with them Githyanki folks. Real high and mighty, like. Been servin’ their queen, Vlaakith, for ages, hand and foot. Sounds like a suck-up to me, but what do I know? He rides a big ol’ dragon, too. A red one, they say. Name’s Qudenos. Imagine that, ridin’ a dragon! Must be one heck of a sight.

Now, here’s the thing about this Voss. He’s famous for killin’ Orpheus. Or at least, that’s what they all say. Who’s Orpheus? Well, I ain’t quite sure, but he must’ve been important, seein’ as how everyone’s always talkin’ about it. Some say Voss imprisoned him first, then killed him. Sounds messy, if you ask me.
Voss and Orpheus, it’s a big deal for the Githyanki, seems like. Like somethin’ outta one of them stories the grandkids tell. Full of fightin’ and betrayal and such. And Voss, he’s right in the middle of it all.
But hold on, there’s more. Seems like this Voss ain’t always been on the up and up. They call him a traitor sometimes. There’s even another fella named Voss, in some other story, who’s a bad guy too. Confusin’, ain’t it? Makes you wonder if this Baldur’s Gate Voss is really as good as he pretends to be.
This Baldur’s Gate game, it’s got all sorts of weird stuff goin’ on. Vampires and parasites and whatnot. One of them vampires, Astarion, he gets kidnapped, and that’s a whole other story. But it all kinda ties together, you know? Like a big tangled mess of yarn.
Now, I ain’t played this game myself, mind you. Too busy with the chickens and the garden, I am. But I hear tell that Voss shows up and causes a whole heap of trouble. He’s always after somethin’ or someone. Probably that Orpheus fella, if I had to guess. Or maybe he’s just tryin’ to keep that queen of his happy. Can’t never trust those high and mighty types, that’s what I say.
And this dragon, Qudenos… I bet he’s a handful. Dragons ain’t known for bein’ easy to get along with, you know? Spews fire and all that. Voss must be one tough cookie to keep that beast in line. Makes me think maybe he’s not such a suck-up after all. Maybe he’s just… complicated.
So, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. Voss is a Githyanki bigwig who rides a dragon, killed a fella named Orpheus, and might be a traitor, might not. He’s mixed up in all sorts of drama with vampires and parasites and who knows what else. Sounds like a real piece of work, if you ask me.
And like I always tell the young’uns, ain’t nothin’ in this world black and white. Everyone’s got their secrets and their reasons. Even this Voss fella. Maybe he ain’t so bad. Or maybe he’s worse than they say. Who knows? Only way to find out is to play that game, I reckon. But I ain’t got the time for that, no sir. Too busy keepin’ this old farm runnin’.
Anyways, that’s what I’ve heard about this Voss from Baldur’s Gate 3. Hope it makes some sense to ya. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed the pigs.
