Bolt Hound Minion
The Bolt Hound is a distinct minion available to players in Final Fantasy XIV. It is a small, canine-like automaton with an electrical theme.
Acquisition
The primary method to obtain the Bolt Hound minion is through Fête Presents. These are reward coffers earned during specific in-game events.
Understanding Fête Presents and Ishgardian Restoration Fêtes
Fête Presents are acquired by participating in and successfully completing F.A.T.E.s (Full Active Time Events) that occur during the Ishgardian Restoration Skyrise Celebrations.
- Skyrise Celebrations: These are special events within The Firmament, part of the Ishgardian Restoration content. They are not continuously active and occur periodically.
- Fêtes: During a Skyrise Celebration, a series of five unique F.A.T.E.s, collectively known as Fêtes, take place. A new series of Fêtes typically begins every two real-world hours, occurring twelve times daily when a celebration is active.
- Rewards: Upon successful completion of these F.A.T.E.s, participants receive Fête Presents, Fête Tokens, and Skybuilder's Scrips. The Bolt Hound minion has a chance to be contained within any Fête Present opened.
Important Note: The availability of Skyrise Celebrations, and therefore the opportunity to earn Fête Presents containing the Bolt Hound, is dependent on the game's current event schedule and the progression phase of the Ishgardian Restoration on a particular server or data center.
