Oh, the king, the king, ya know, that For the King 2 game? My grandkids, they always playin’ it. Talkin’ ’bout unlockin’ all them characters. They yellin’ and screamin’ at the TV, “Gotta get ’em all!”

Now, I hear tell there’s a bunch of ’em, like, 12 or somethin’. Don’t ask me what they do, some fight, some heal, some… I dunno, play music? Sounds silly to me. But the kids, they love it.

So, how ya get these characters? Well, seems some ya just gotta buy with that “Lore” stuff. Like a store, ya see? You do chores, you get money. You play the game, you get Lore. And with that Lore, you buy characters. Makes sense, kinda.

  • Heard tell there’s a fella called the Trapper. Probably traps stuff. Critters, maybe?
  • Then there’s the Busker. That one plays music. Right in the middle of a fight, can ya believe it?
  • And the Herbalist… well, that’s just fancy talk for someone who knows their weeds. Heals ya up, I reckon.
  • And the Woodcutter… chops wood, what else? Guess ya need wood for somethin’ in the game.

But hold yer horses, it ain’t that simple. Just buyin’ ain’t enough for some. You gotta play the game, do stuff, go on adventures. Like workin’ for yer supper, ya see? No easy way out.

My grandkids, they always whisperin’ about “spoilers.” Don’t want nobody tellin’ them how to get things, want to figure it out themselves. Stubborn, just like their pa. But I heard there’s ways to unlock all the characters without all that “grindin’.” Means doin’ the same thing over and over again, I think. Sounds borin’ to me.

This “Lore Store,” that’s where the magic happens. That’s where ya spend yer hard-earned Lore and get them new characters. It’s like tradin’ beads for blankets, back in the day. You want somethin’, ya gotta give somethin’.

Anyways, that’s all I know ’bout them For the King 2 characters. My grandkids, they could tell ya more, but they too busy playin’. Always on that darn screen. But if it keeps ’em outta trouble, I guess it’s alright.

So, go on, play yer game. Unlock them characters. Just don’t forget to come up for air once in a while. And maybe eat somethin’ besides chips and soda. Just sayin’.
