Continuing Zones (MSQ Progression):
- Levels 15-25: The East Shroud (main), Western La Noscea (main), Eastern Thanalan (main).
- Levels 25-35: South Shroud, Upper La Noscea, Southern Thanalan.
- Levels 30-40: Coerthas Central Highlands (lower areas), Outer La Noscea.
- Levels 40-50: Coerthas Central Highlands (higher areas), Mor Dhona, Northern Thanalan.
Heavensward (Levels 50-60)
Progression is linear through the Main Story Quests (MSQ):
- Levels 50-52: Coerthas Western Highlands
- Levels 52-54: The Dravanian Forelands
- Levels 54-56: The Churning Mists
- Levels 56-58: The Sea of Clouds
- Levels 58-60: Azys Lla
Stormblood (Levels 60-70)
Progression is linear through the MSQ, alternating between two main regions:
- Levels 60-61: The Fringes (Gyr Abania)
- Levels 61-63: The Peaks (Gyr Abania)
- Levels 62-64: The Ruby Sea (Othard)
- Levels 64-66: Yanxia (Othard)
- Levels 66-68: The Azim Steppe (Othard)
- Levels 69-70: The Lochs (Gyr Abania)
Shadowbringers (Levels 70-80)
Progression is linear through the MSQ across The First:
- Levels 70-72: Lakeland
- Levels 72-74: Kholusia
- Levels 74-76: Amh Araeng
- Levels 76-78: Il Mheg
- Levels 78-79: The Rak'tika Greatwood
- Levels 79-80: The Tempest
Endwalker (Levels 80-90)
Progression is linear through the MSQ:
- Levels 80-82: Labyrinthos
- Levels 81-83: Thavnair
- Levels 82-84: Garlemald
- Levels 84-86: Mare Lamentorum
- Levels 86-88: Elpis
- Levels 88-90: Ultima Thule
Dawntrail (Levels 90-100)
Leveling will primarily follow the Main Story Quests through the new continent of Tural and other revealed locations. Key adventure zones include:
- Urqopacha
- Yak T'el
- Kozama'uka
- Shaaloani
- (Further zones will be encountered as part of the MSQ progression towards level 100)
