Well, well, well, lookie here, talkin’ ’bout offerin’ somethin’ to this Mystra in BG3. Never heard of her ’til now, but seems folks wanna give her stuff. Don’t rightly know why, but hey, if it makes ’em happy.
So, first off, gotta find where to do this offerin’. Heard tell it’s in some fancy place called a tabernacle. Now, I ain’t one for fancy words, but it just means a church or somethin’ like that. You go inside and there’s statues, big stone folks who ain’t real but they stand for somethin’ important, like this Mystra.
Now, what to offer? Heard you can give anythin’, just about. Got some old boot? Give it! Some rusty spoon? Why not? Guess it ain’t the stuff itself, but the thought that counts, ya know? Like when yer grandkids give ya a rock they found, it ain’t much of a rock, but it’s special ’cause they gave it to ya.
But hold yer horses, ’cause there’s a catch! Seems if you want a special blessin’ from Mystra, you gotta cough up some gold. Not just any gold, but a certain amount dependin’ on how strong you are. More strong, more gold. Don’t ask me why, that’s just how it is. If you pay up, you get a fancy-schmancy “Anointed in Splendour” buff. Whatever that means, sounds powerful.
Now, lemme tell ya a story. Heard about some folks sneakin’ into the basement of that tabernacle, where they keep the offerin’s. They opened chests and started stealin’ stuff, not givin’, but takin’! Well, that didn’t sit right with Mystra, no sirree. She put a curse on them! Serves ’em right, I say. Stealin’ from a goddess, what were they thinkin’?
- Find the tabernacle: That’s the place where you make the offerin’.
- Choose your offerin’: Anything goes, from boots to spoons.
- Pay the gold: If you want that special blessin’, gotta pay the price.
- Don’t be stealin’: Stealin’ from a goddess is a big no-no.
And get this, there’s a way to get a statue of yerself! Yep, a stone you, just standin’ there. It’s supposed to give you good luck, like a lucky charm. Helps you hit stuff better and dodge trouble. That sounds useful, don’t it?
Also, heard tell there’s another goddess, Selne, down in that basement too. Don’t know much about her, but seems like that tabernacle is a busy place, all them goddesses hangin’ out there.
Now, if you wanna change who you are, like if you wanna be a fighter instead of a wizard, you gotta talk to a fella named Withers. He’ll help you out. Don’t ask me how, seems like magic to me.
So, there ya have it, all about offerin’ to Mystra in BG3. Find the tabernacle, give somethin’ (or gold if you want that blessin’), don’t steal, maybe get a statue, and talk to Withers if you wanna switch things up. Simple, right? Just like bakin’ a pie, follow the steps and you’ll be fine.
