In-Game Obtainable Costumes
A significant number of costumes can be unlocked directly through gameplay. Many of these are tied to acquiring specific Titles for each character. Titles are earned by achieving certain milestones, completing side quests, or progressing through the story. Equipping these specific titles often changes the character's outfit.
- Story Progression & Side Quests: Certain titles, and by extension costumes, are unlocked as players advance the main narrative or complete specific character-focused side quests. Examples include formal wear or alternative outfits reflecting character development.
- Post-Game Content: Additional costumes become available upon completing the main story and engaging in post-game dungeons or challenges, such as the Zhonecage.
- Miscellaneous Activities: Some titles and costumes are rewards for engaging in various in-game activities, like excelling in mini-games or fulfilling specific battle conditions.
Downloadable Content (DLC) Costumes
Tales of Graces f also offered a wide array of costumes available as paid downloadable content. These typically fall into several popular themes:
