Understanding Aftershocked Coral
Aftershocked Coral is a valuable currency in Wuthering Waves, primarily obtained when players acquire duplicate Resonators (characters) through the Convene (gacha) system. Each duplicate pull beyond the initial acquisition or specific Resonance Chain unlocks will yield a set amount of Aftershocked Coral.
Exchange Shop Location
Players can exchange their Aftershocked Coral in the Store, specifically under the Item Exchange tab. This section is dedicated to various currency conversions, with Aftershocked Coral having its own designated redemption area.
Items Available for Exchange
The Aftershocked Coral exchange provides access to essential items for account progression. The primary items available are:
- Convene Currencies (Pulling Items):
- Lustrous Tide: Used for Standard Convenes (permanent banner). This is a common choice for expanding your roster or weapon collection.
- Radiant Tide: Used for limited-time Character Event Convenes. Highly valued for targeting specific featured Resonators.
- Forging Tide: Used for limited-time Weapon Event Convenes. Ideal for acquiring specific featured weapons.
- Resonator Advancement (Wavebands):
- Rover's Waveband: Allows for the enhancement of the main character's (Rover) Resonance Chain.
- Wavebands for specific 4-star Resonators: The shop offers Wavebands for a selection of 4-star Resonators, which may rotate. These are used to unlock or advance their Resonance Chains, enhancing their abilities. Purchasing these is often limited per period.
- Essential Consumables:
- Crystal Solvent: An item that instantly replenishes 60 Waveplates (the game's stamina resource). Useful for farming materials.
- A limited quantity of Shell Credits (the primary in-game currency) may also be available.
Strategic Use: It is generally recommended to prioritize exchanging Aftershocked Coral for limited-time Convene currencies (Radiant Tides and Forging Tides) if you are targeting specific event Resonators or weapons. Wavebands for key 4-star Resonators on your team can also be a strong investment for power progression. Crystal Solvents are useful but should be weighed against the value of additional pulls or character enhancements.
